- Engadget named the EP25 their best smart plug overall for 2026, fuss-free and reliable. Lamps go on a sunset schedule, timers run in the app, and energy monitoring shows real-time wattage plus usage history for each plugged-in device. It works with Alexa, Google Home, Siri and HomeKit, and SmartThings with no hub required, is rated 15A / 1800W and UL Certified, holds 4.2 stars across about 4,957 ratings, and the compact body does not block the second outlet. Available and sold by Amazon.com at capture. Honest limits: it runs on 2.4GHz WiFi only, some owners report setup friction, and the energy numbers live in the app, there is no screen on the plug.
